My Camera
With all the new information I'm getting at school I am experimenting with my digital camera, an Olympus e-620. I found this review on it and learn more about my camera. I found it easier to follow than the manual. So much more to learn, but I am already getting better images.

Study Study
So I have my first midterm of the quarter tomorrow. Its on parts of the camera, aperture, shutter speed, etc. Hopefully I will do good but I have to go study light meters because I've only used the light meter in my camera.
Lissa Hatcher
I had never heard of Lissa Hatcher but in this months Professional Photographer she has a article about her life. I checked out her website and she has some great images and has won some awards. I really enjoyed reading her story.

Helpful Video
So I have been working on my pinhole camera and I ran into some problems with the shutter. I just didn't understand the concept. I found the really helpful video on how to make a pinhole.
Full Moon
A little bit ago I took my dogs out and saw the full moon its huge. I wish I had a better lens so I could have got more detail. I like how my instructors have made me think about shooting more. Before I was in school I probably would have said look at the moon not rushed in side to get my camera and take pictures of it. They are making me realize how important it is to get out and shoot.

Pinhole update
So I'm coming right along on my pinhole camera. This assignment is a lot of fun. I'm testing it out on Tuesday during lab. I hope it works and I get a sharp image.
Happy Halloween
I hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween. I found this creepy picture from Oakland Cemetery, I shot there for a creative assignment last week. My boyfriend Gus was taking shots with my digital and I was laying in the ground taking shots with my film camera. Its spooky because it looks like I'm coming out of the grave. Funny what can come out of random pictures. I'm going to play around in photo shop and see if I can make it scary.
